The Property Department was founded in 2013 to assist small retailers and private landlords who don't have their own Property Department
Our vision is to help others achieve their business outcomes by providing expertise and assistance around their lease and property needs
Our experience has helped retailers achieve sustainable lease outcomes and private landlords take control of their portfolio without handing over management to someone else
We can also assist with due diligence on purchases and preparation of properties for sale
Alan Baynash - Director
Alan has 25 years' experience in the retail property sector. During that time, Alan has worked for major institutional landlords, local and international property agencies, as well as retailers - both small and large. He has managed, leased, and developed iconic properties including Centrepoint Sydney, and Sydney Airport.
Alan has experience working for both landlords and retailers. His knowledge and expertise in the management, leasing and development of shopping centres provides his clients with valuable insight into the landlords processes and requirements.
Alan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW, and Real Estate Agent's Licences in VIC, NSW and QLD.
